The Golden Age of Hollywood: Films of Bette Davis and Joan Crawford

Follow the careers of two Hollywood film icons, Bette Davis and Joan Crawford, during the Golden Age of American cinema. We'll consider the "star system" of Hollywood studios, the changing role of women and their portrayal in film, and the evolution of Crawford and Davis through their long careers. Join us to dive into dramatic classics like Mildred Pierce, The Women, Jezebel, and Now Voyager.
