Intensive Drawing Colloquium in Taos

This three-day intensive drawing course, open to all skill levels from novice to master, will allow students to work from the landscape and local flora of the Taos area. The intensive workshop experience will provide even the most novice artist the opportunity to create an expansive series of drawings. Students will learn beginning and advanced principles of drawing. We will also be discussing drawing and observation as a component of the contemporary art world and as a part of our daily lives. Supply list will be provided.

Enrollment in this course also requires an additional $500 fee for room and board on the SMU-in-Taos campus:
- room is based on double occupancy in a semi-private, communal casita
- board includes breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks featuring organic and locally-grown selections

Registration fee does not include travel to/from New Mexico. These arrangements are the responsibility of each student.
