Introduction to Drawing

Learn elements of drawing in different media by working in charcoal, pencil, and ink wash. This course focuses on quick work, developing the ability to look at a three-dimensional object and translate it to paper -- with an emphasis on composition, line, and value studies. Students work directly from live models and still life to improve their skills. Beginning students, as well as those with experience, are welcome. Supplies are not included in the cost of the course.
