Workshop: Beginnings & Endings

Beginnings and Endings T.S. Eliot said, "The end is in the beginning." If you have a beginning but not an end or an ending but not a beginning, this is the class for you. Bring your first or last scene and we'll use the Ask and Answered structure to find out what the end scene should do. Week one, we'll look at how stories use this ask/answered structure and mine the scene that you have (beginning or end) for information it can tell us about the scene you don't have (or don't have the way you want it). You'll write the second scene over the week. We'll workshop that one week 2.
